It’s fast approaching that time of year, and we’ll unfortunately have to stop skating for two weeks, as Moray Council close their games halls. And, well… our sessions would fall on Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, Hogmanay and the 2nd of January… so it’s unlikely we’d have that many skaters anyway!
Our last skate of 2015 is going to be on Saturday 19th December between 12pm and 2pm, and we’re going to see the year out with a bang by having a fun roller disco, with some skate-friendly party games!
After that, we’ll be heading to Qismat for curry at 7pm, and then out onto the town, to paint it red. The curry will be subsidised for members, as we’re unable to host all the skating sessions this month.
We’ll return to skating as normal on Thursday 7th January at Forres House Community Centre between 6:30pm and 8pm and Saturday sessions will restart on Saturday 9th January at Elgin Community Centre between 12pm and 2pm.
Hope everyone has a great Christmas and New Year, and we look forward to seeing you all again in 2016.
